Les Chocolateries Askanya is Haiti's first premier bean-to-bar chocolate company, dedicated to producing high-quality, ethically sourced chocolates. Founded by Haitian-American engineer Corinne Joachim Sanon Symietz, the company aims to provide sustainable employment opportunities in Haiti and support local farmers.

All chocolates are handcrafted by local women in Ouanaminthe, using natural ingredients sourced from over 3,000 Haitian farmers.  Each bar features packaging inspired by Haiti's vibrant flora and fauna, such as the Bird of Paradise flower on the Paradis milk chocolate bar. By purchasing Askanya Chocolates, consumers not only enjoy gourmet confections but also contribute to the economic development of Haitian communities.

The Centre Hospitalier de Fontaine Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting underfunded schools and hospitals in marginalized Haitian communities. Founded in 2018 by Kareen Ulysse, the foundation's mission is to "work where others don't, when others can't, to save lives, bring education, and create jobs one community at a time."

CHF operates 24/7 and is the only operational hospital in the commune since 2021. In addition to healthcare, CHFF supports educational initiatives through partnerships with institutions like Ecole Mixte Petit Coeur de Jesus (E.M.P.C.J. School), serving kindergarten to 9th-grade students, and the Centre de Formation Professionelle et Technique de Fontaine (CFPTF College), which offers vocational training to at-risk youth and adults. Through these collaborations, CHFF aims to improve healthcare accessibility, enhance educational opportunities, and foster economic development in underserved Haitian communities.
